VCVERA ESTATE NEWSLETTER PRESS RELEASE VCVERA HOLDS INAUGURAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING, INSPECTS ESTATE FACILITIES Saturday, 22 August 2026. The Victoria Crest V Estate Residents Association (VCVERA) today held the inaugural meeting of its newly elected Executive Committee at the Estate Swimming Pool Arcade. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Association, Asiwaju Olubunmi Oluwadare, FG-BDSP, alongside other newly elected Executive Committee members. In his opening remarks, the Chairman expressed appreciation to residents for the confidence reposed in the new leadership. He reaffirmed the Executive Committee’s commitment to inclusive, transparent, accountable and service-driven administration. He stressed that the new EXCO would work closely with residents, homeowners, tenants, the Board of Trustees, the Estate Developer and the Facility Management Company to advance peace, security, infrastructure development and improved quality of life within Victoria Crest V Estate. The meeting provided an opportunity for EXCO members to formally introduce themselves, review the estate’s immediate needs, and set priority areas for the administration. Key focus areas identified include: Power and utilities, Security, Environmental cleanliness, Infrastructure maintenance, Residents’ welfare, Financial accountability, Effective communication, Community participation, and the establishment of functional committees. The Chairman urged all Executive members to uphold teamwork, discipline, integrity and respect for residents, noting that the success of the administration depends on collective responsibility and active community participation. Facility Inspection Tour Following the meeting, the Chairman led the Executive Committee on an inspection tour of key facilities and locations across the estate. The tour enabled an on-the-spot assessment of existing infrastructure, identification of areas requiring urgent attention, and a better understanding of the estate’s operational and developmental needs. Observations from the inspection will inform a practical action plan and guide engagement with relevant stakeholders and service providers. Speaking after the tour, Asiwaju Oluwadare assured residents of an accessible and responsive leadership: > “This administration belongs to every resident of Victoria Crest V Estate. Our goal is to build a safer, cleaner, better-managed and more united community. We will listen to our residents, work with all stakeholders and pursue solutions that serve the collective interest of our estate.” The inaugural meeting and facility inspection mark the beginning of a new chapter in the governance of Victoria Crest V Estate — anchored on unity, accountability, residents’ participation and sustainable community development.
